Job Summary
reSTART is currently seeking a hard-working dynamic individual with strong values and a desire to provide exceptional facility maintenance housecleaning services at our 32-acre property in Monroe, and occasionally at other properties in Duvall, Carnation and Fall City, WA. This position requires an individual who is flexible enough to assume a variety of roles as dictated by the changing needs of the properties. It is crucial that an individual be dedicated to maintaining the physical appearance and upkeep of the facility. This position is more than just performing maintenance; individuals in this position foster an environment in which individuals connect with life, develop independence and learn to live cooperatively with others.
Position Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, maintain facilities and perform handy person services in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
Maintain housecleaning service logs
Wash bathrooms, mop floors, and clean fixtures
Sanitize kitchen floors and counters
Vacuum carpets, and mop and wax floors
Clean rooms, halls, lounges, and corridors
Empty and wash wastepaper baskets
Replenish bathroom supplies and disinfect bathroom floors
Wash dishes and place them in the dryer
Arrange dishes in cupboards
Dust and polish furniture and equipment
Sort clothes for washing and place them in the washing machine
Organized washed and folded clothes as needed
Wash and organize the linen
Ensure all cleaning items are stored appropriately
Request repair services for broken fixtures and furniture Replace light bulbs
Plan menus and cook meals as per employers’ instructions
Move furniture as requested and turn mattresses
Wash and stock towels
Change bed sheets using fresh linen
Dust and Polish wood surfaces such as baseboards, bed heads and tables
Scrub stains and mold from surfaces
Dispose-off expired food items
Wipe down appliances and restock house with supplies
Sweep entryways and patio and ensure they are free of leaves and debris
Put and refresh flower baskets and vases
Clean upholstered furniture by wiping it down
Disinfect equipment using a variety of chemicals
Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are…
You are a hard worker, yet personable. You have a wide spectrum of knowledge in building/residential maintenance. You are able to work on your feet doing physical labor with ease, working quickly and efficiently. You communicate well, in both oral and written forms. You have an eye for excellence, and are passionate about being proactive to make places look their best. Your education and experience have equipped you with the ability to perform all functions of this job, and you have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Work Environment:
This role will largely keep you indoors, but some outdoor work may be required.
Physical Demands:
· Must have ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
· Frequently required to stand and walk.

Requirements
Have a high school diploma or high school or high school equivalency course of study (GED/HSEC)
At least one year of experience working with youth.
Be at least twenty-one years of age
Valid Washington driver’s license with a driving record that meets agency requirements
Completion of CPR (in-person), First Aid
Proof of negative TB test
Pass criminal background check
Clean drug screen (including marijuana)
